Describe the recruitment documentation for Temptation Café
Recruitment
Recruitment is the process of finding and hiring someone best-qualified for a certain job, within or outside an organisation, in an appropriate and cost effective manner. The recruitment process includes 4 stages that the employer will follow in order to select the best candidate for the job. Recruitment is important as if the employer does not employ the right person they are looking for then the employer or the new employee may not be satisfied which would lead to then quitting the job within a day or two, another problem would be that the customers may not be satisfied with the service provided by this employee which will lead to bad reputation of the organisation. Therefore it is very important that when recruiting, the employer follows the four stages appropriately and selects the right candidate. Temptation café will be looking to recruit someone who has skills such as, organisation skills, communication skills and writing, listening and speaking skills.
The following is the 4 different stages of a recruitment documentation for a shop like Temptation Café:
First of all the employer will put together a job description. A job description is a written statement of a certain job that will generally include the duties, purpose, responsibilities and working conditions of the job they are looking to hire in. At Temptation Café they will include the jobs such as serving and waiting on customers, cleaning and also being an assistant for the owner. The job description is an important stage of the recruitment process as the person applying to work at Temptation Café needs to know what their duties will be while working at the café, also the skills would not be accurate if the job description is incorrect which would lead to them hiring the wrong person. The job description will link to other stages

Status of Books in Modern Society

...Books are symbolic of learning, and the educated. For years now, having a home library was the luxury few could afford. The lucky few who had one were immeasurably proud of it, and rightly so. Today, not only are books beginning to lose the value that they once had in the eyes of Man, their place in society has been increasingly challenged by the newborns of the digital age. New trends such as the increasing pace of life, the accelerating rate at which new information is being pedalled forth, and the ubiquity of the effects of capitalism have driven people to become more efficient. The by-product of such phenomena is that Man is taken as its slave, and only the interests of the market are considered, instead of the individual. Unfortunately, this has dealt a severe blow to the significance of the book in modern society. All indicators seem to point out that the book is unworthy of its more efficient counterparts like the personal computer or tablet. Yet, the book holds a special place in our hearts: its final trump card. We should not be too quick to oust the book out of our lives even with the proliferation of suitable alternatives, for there is still indeed worth of the hard copy even in the frenzy of modern society. Evolution seems to have taken mankind back to square one, where the modern man (like his ancestors thousands of years ago) worries about his next meal, appointment or payment. "Next" seems like the buzzword of modern society, with people constantly looking for...

Records Format

...Summarize in 250-300 words the differences among source-oriented records, problem-oriented records, and integrated records. Include how you think the advantages and disadvantages of each record format affect every day work- remember to think about retrieving records as well as filing them. Source-oriented records (SOR) maintain reports according to source of documentation. This means that whomever the document is generated by, whether it being a nurse, radiology, or a physician each has their own section in the patient records. Problem-oriented records (POR) or problem-oriented medical records (POMR) is a way of record keeping that focuses on a specific problem that a patient may be having, which uses four components database, problem list, initial plan, and progress notes to identify problems. In a POR patients are assigned one or more problems and notes are documented for each problem using the SOAP structure. SOAP is defined as subjective, objective, assessment, and plan. Subjective is a patient’s statement about how she/he feels. Objective is the observation of the patient. Assessment is the judgment, opinion, or evaluation made by the health care provider. Plan is the diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational plan to resolve the patient’s problem. Integrated records format is the arranging of reports in a chronological date order. This allows observation on how the patient is progressing according to test results and how well the patient is responding to treatment based...

Records Organization

...Week 6 –Records Organization Tamara Tate HRC/210 Patient Record: Keeping it Real (Axia) March 12, 2014 Lisa Owens Records Organization Records Organization There is variances and parallels amongst small, medium, and large facilities regarding how patient's records are organized. There are also differences in how loose paper records are maintained. Likewise, I have noticed the majority of facilities prefer that their loose records are anchored in their charts. This makes sense to me because it prevents the loose reports from coming up missing or lost. However, the size of facility seems to regulate how the facility systematizes its patient's files. The most prevalent methods of organization I have seen include chronologically, form numbers, report types, and categories. While reviewing the interview threads, I observed many similarities and many differences in how patient files are controlled. For example, the medium and large facilities are most likely to use electronic documenting than paper ones, thus eliminating the threat of misplaced records. The most common variance I perceived was in whether or not the facilities use paper files versus electronic files. Almost all of the medium and large facilities are using electronic files with all records immediately filed with the patient's main file. In contrast, the smaller facilities seem more likely to use paper files. Records are filed with the patient's main record right away or by the end of the day. This makes it easier...
