Rudy Robles a United States citizen who was deported in accident to Mexico by immigration officers. Although, Rudy tried to explain that he was a citizen but he dint had no form to prove it and was thrown to Tijuana with undocumented workers that were caught in a raid by immigration. Although his parents were Mexicans he dint know how to speak Spanish. Rudy was furious that immigration dint believe him because he looked Mexican and was left in Mexico. As he was anxious and terrified because he dint know how he will get back to LA with no money. Yet he was offered a job by Jimmy a man who owned a nightclub or bar and jimmy quickly gave him the job because he thought that Rudy was a Mexican that knew how to speak perfect English. It shows how people really judge other people by their looks as Rudy being a U.S citizen was deported to Mexico because he wasn't able to prove his immigration status. Jimmy thought him as being a Mexican and never really believed that Rudy was a United States Citizen because of his appearance. Yet jimmy main concern was to make money as he was a Marxism always looking to make big profits and he realized that was precious because Rudy was making the big profit for him. I also realized a message that the movie was trying to provide the watcher about. The film was trying to reflect that many people take advantage of the people trying to accomplished a goal. As Rudy was trying to return home Jimmy took advantage of that and gave Rudy various jobs but with low paying and Rudy had no choice but to accept since he was desperate to return home and he had to earn money to pay jimmy to cross him over the border. Yet Rudy was able to realize that home wasn't as important since he loved Dolores and wanted to be with her. That's why he brilliantly brought many people who wanted to come to United states with him by walking with all of them down the mountain terrifying the border officers who dint do anything to stop them.
