Hi I’m Hunter and I am going to teach you how to hit a baseball and run the bases. If you did not know but it is proven that hitting is the hardest part of baseball but it is the most fun part of the game. First what you do is tap the plate make sure that the bat is in the middle of the plate. Second put your hand up by your ear and don’t put your elbow up because you will dip your shoulder and you will pop out. Then you swing and you can’t hit the ball if you can’t see it so watch the ball hit the bat and you will hit it a long way.

Now to base running when the pitcher is on the rubber you take your lead and the way you do it is that you take 1 full step and don’t cross your legs or you will get off balance and get thrown out. Then you take one body length after the step. Pretend you have a string going from your elbow to your foot then when you see the foot come up you take off you turn your feet and then you off and then slide in to second base as you want to head first or feet first.
