A professor obsessed with the idea of past lives, gets the chance to see his past, but his discovery leads to grave consequences.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

Professor STEPHEN EMERSON (50’s) is obsessed with a book, DNALYM, written by EDGAR GRAVES. It explains his theory of past lives and the ability of man to tap into his consciousness to see his or her other lives. In fact, years ago, Edgar, along with his colleagues, DAVIS, SUZANNE, and JULIO ran an experiment on a homeless man to discover his past lives. Edgar has a secret lab and a machine that allows the person to explore their past.

Edgar, however, becomes concerned when he discovers that someone has broken into his home and severed the electrical power.

Emerson volunteers to be the next experiment subject. He sees his past lives and the images from his lives appear on the screen, including a woman who looks a lot like Alexine and a past as a warrior. The machine works.

Without telling anyone, Alexine also uses the machine to see her past. She shares it with Emerson. Her past lives are dark, but she’s happy to know about them. She’s convinced that she met Emerson in the past.

Edgar is devastated when his home is burned down. The police have a man in custody. It’s Davis, Edgar’s former colleague. Davis used the machine many years ago and saw his past. He killed a woman and he’s been haunted by the knowledge. He doesn’t feel anyone else should go through what he has emotional experienced.
