With the drive, determination and passion in management since the earlier days when I step into the tertiary education, I am geared up to join the high quality and internationally recognized MBA program at X. Interested in acquiring the management and business skills to become as a Manager in five years time which is my career goal, the X MBA program will be the platform to become a successful manager in future.
As a computer science student in college, I had acquired problem solving and analytical thinking skills in the areas of software development and programming, but I never had the opportunity to learn skills in management like managing a team of people in software development projects. To fulfill my career goal, I must develop and enhance my capabilities to become a manager. I believe, the X MBA program will provide the essential skills of management in key areas of communicating, decision making, motivating, problem solving and self managing.
Let me explain the key areas starting from communicating which is essential for me to express myself concisely, clearly, regularly and persuasively as a manager. Besides, decision making will develop my confidence level and analytical skills enabling me to make timely, incisive judgments as a manager. Furthermore, as a manager, motivating is crucial to know what your staff can do, making it clear what you can get from them, enthusing them to maximX effort and rewarding them according to their contribution. Problem solving is another integral part for me as a manager in adopting a logical and creative approach in confronting daily management task and staff interaction. Self managing is key for me as individual in achieving control over my daily in terms of managing time, handling task, simplifying the workload and coping the stress that shadows the managerial role.
