Dough re mi seeks to create and promote great-tasting, healthier, bake and no bake cookies and tea. We strive to grow our business with the same honesty and integrity we use to craft our products, with sustainability and great taste for all.
Concept:
We choose Dough re mi as the name of our business, obviously Dough re mi comes from the famous notes in music the do re mi, it tells that in your every bite on the cookies and in every sip on the tea that Dough re mi offers “mapapakanta ka na lang sa sarap”. We change the spelling of the do into dough because it’s all about pastry and if you love sweets you will FALL IN LOVE with these!
We choose this business because we love sweet foods and we also love to bake with love. We want them to feel comfortable relaxed and special when they try our products. We want to comfort them and let them experience the relaxation when they are tired from work. Simply saying we want to help them to relax after a stressful work.

Target Market:
Our market is divided into three different psychographics: Comfort Creatures, Celebrators, and Loving Moms. They represent groups of people sharing similar behavior patterns and reasons for patronizing Dough re mi

* Comfort Creatures are mainly white collar workers who are driven by success and prestige yet miss homemade comfort foods like Dough re mi cookies and tea of their childhood. They may stop in on their own or bring clients in for a gourmet dessert/snack experience.

* Celebrators are just that - people celebrating special occasions. Birthday, anniversary, graduation, valentine's day, etc., families and loved ones will prefer give Dough re mi cookies as giveaways or gifts.

* Loving Moms actually encompasses all family members. Their home is a gathering place where families are welcome and feel comfortable. "Moms" can come in for after school Dough re mi cookies and tea with their children and relax while they pamper the little ones. Or they can meet up with friends for their Tea Time - a little civilized time stolen in the midst of a busy day.

Strategy:
We have specifically targeted segments of people with an appreciation for delicious cookies and nutritious tea and a need for comfort and relaxation. Product Description Dough Re Mi offered two types of cookies a no baked and baked cookies and a tea, to start of ‘Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies’ the no bake cookies, ‘Chocolate Chip Cookies’ the baked one and the sweet potato tops tea. All products are homemade and ensured the nutritional value. Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookies a sweet staff, a no baked cookies that is for sure will be the favorite of all. This crisp, chewy and sweet cookie was loaded with oats and chocolate flavor, peanut butter and crushed graham. Chocolate Chip Cookies was a type of cookie that was distinguished for having a chocolate chip as principal ingredients. Sweet potato tops tea is made of reddish colored sweet potato tops, honey and calamansi. Its look like the usual tea but the color is red and it ensured the nutritional factors of it because of the sweet potato tops. Desserts are part of every meal we took every day, in our breakfast lunch dinner and even in snacks. You can take cookies as your snacks and it will best if you partner it with the tea. This cookies and tea would make your day better if you sweets you’ll fall in love with this.

Packaging Packaging is important to any kind of food product. Provides protection, tampering resistance, and special physical, chemical, or biological needs. It may bear a nutrition facts label and other information about food being offered for sale. The packaging and labels can also be used by marketers to encourage buyers to purchase the product. The attract ability of the packaging is very important; some customers will buy your product upon seeing your packaging because they are attracted to it. Our product’s packaging is was simply but really attractive. The cookies were placed into a box covered by a transparent plastic and sealed. It is safe from ants or any insects. The packaging itself helped the cookies last longer than other packaging. It was properly labeled. It has name of the product, ingredients, location, contact number, and expiration date.
Production process Production process shows what the no bake cookies were made of and what tool were use and how it was made:
Procedure:
Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in medium saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to rolling boil.
Add peanut butter; stir to blend. Add oats, peanuts and vanilla; stir to mix well.
Drop mixture by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper. Cool completely. Make a twist

Market Locale
A business location is one of the keys to a successful business and the overall growth. We choose to locate our business in the municipality of Lucena besides Philippine Tong Ho Ins., because our target markets are Comfort Creatures mainly white collar workers, students and Loving Moms. There’s a lot of establishments their like schools, the STI College, Magill, Columbus College and Philippine Tong Ho Ins., offices, municipal hall of Lucena and the Governor’s Mansion. It was chosen as the primary market consisted of, students in the said schools, the employees in the different offices nearby and the parents of the students. Putting up a business like this nearby in schools and many establishment is a good idea because in every day in their work or school hours they have a break time even the vacant time for those college students they almost spend that time with snack while having a conversation, they will prefer to go to dough re mi they may stop in on their own or bring clients in for a gourmet dessert/snack experience or they can meet up with friends for their Tea Time - a little civilized time stolen in the midst of a busy day.

Market Buyer The primary target markets were the students, the parents of the students and those employees of the schools and offices nearby. Those elementary students took a break from class three times a day and they spend it in eating, some of the parents come to school during lunch time to send foods and feed their children they must prefer to bring a cookies because we all know that majority of elementary students love sweets and after class to take their children home and that will be our opportunity for us to sell our product. And for those employees they always took their lunch break every day and they may buy some cookies to us as their dessert and it can also be a “pasalubong” for their love ones. The secondary target markets of Dough Re Mi are the friends in social media of the owners of this business because we will use social media for promotion and advertisement of our business.
Marketing System Market system is the network of buyers, sellers and other actors that come together to trade in a given product or service. The objective is to maximize the benefits from the available resources and to expand marketing operations to increase wealth. Dough Re Mi used personal selling, wherein there was a face to face or word product demonstration of the product. Social media marketing is also used, because nowadays internet is becoming popular place to everyone. The entire marketing tactic implemented aided not to incur any cost, and proved most effective way.

Systems of Selling In system selling, it is important to view the customer’s needs. One variant of systems selling is systems contracting where a single supplier provides the buyer/customer’s satisfaction. Our first strategy in selling is direct selling or personal selling. Wherein we could explain or introduce our product to potential customer. The benefits and nutritional facts that they can get from our product. Here, we need to attract them from the words of our mouth. Our second strategy is through social media. The facebook page of our cookie. Wherein we will attach the specification of our cookie. And they can message us an buy through online. Customer’s satisfaction is important so they will always come back to buy our nutritious product.

Promotion and Advertising Promotion is one of the marketing mix elements frequently used is marketing. Through promotion and advertising we bring service to the attention of potential and current customers. Here, we can offer a free taste to potential customers or even to friends/family. And by giving them a comment card, we can improve the product. In deciding which media to use, we must ensure that our target customers will see the message in the first place. Social media is a marketing tool that offers opportunities to reach larger audiences in an interactive way. Our strategy plan in advertising is to make a page of our cookie. Wherein potential customers could see our product and buy online without taking time to go in our stall.
The goal of a promotion is then to increase demand and to reach the most people possible in a time efficient and a cost efficient manner.
