I believe all human life is valuable. Certain people might be worth more in money but all people were created equal. If someone can but a monetary value on a dead person, then that person doesn’t care about human life. If you put a price on something extremely valuable like life then you’re a monster. If I even believed in the system on how someone could put a price on the dead body of a deceased person it wouldn’t be be by what job they have or how much longer they might of had to work, but it would be by what that person did in his/her life.

In the story of the “Scarlet Ibis” Brother had only helped Doodle so he (Doodle) wouldn't embarrass him or the families name. Brother’s value for Doodle’s life was a waste of space, something he should’ve got rid of, and how do I get him from effecting our families name. Whenever Doodle fell off the cart while Brother was pulling then Brother would physically abuse him. Dr.Landy has done psychological research to find out whether a person would more likely save an infant or a little child. In 2001 sept. 11th the Twin Towers were attacked by terrorists, many people died after the attack happened, a few years after the attack the government asked an attorney by the name of Kenneth Feinberg to decide the amount of money each family that had someone that died in the attack, but the government told him that the employee’s families of certain jobs got paid more than others.
