As a child, I myself was beleaguered with dysfunction and poverty. Amid these circumstances, however, I used these impediments as fuel to ignite an eagerness to search for a more fulfilling and prosperous life. At the age of seventeen, with constant feelings of affliction and lack of moral and financial support, I ventured out into the world, destitute. My inclination and determination to have a satisfying and successful life surfaced throughout my elementary and junior high school years. The degree of ease with which I completed these schools filled me with confidence knowing that I had an important asset: an aptitude to learn effortlessly. This asset, I believed, would propel me educationally and victoriously. Eventually, after serving for four years in the military, I earned an AAS in business administration followed by a BSS in business administration.
