...School Bells… I started kindergarten at Spring Hill Elementary School. There my teacher’s name was Mr. Shortner. Around half way through the year I won student of the month at that school and not even three days later I switched schools to Chocachatti. My kindergarten teacher’s name there was Mrs. Noark. Everyone thought she was the best teacher ever. She didn’t like to give us homework so we used to call her Mrs. No Work. She was really nice and loved teaching the class. My mom was excited for me to go to kindergarten. She was excited because she wanted me to learn in a new environment and meet new friends and have fun new experiences. When I was in kindergarten I got in trouble for sleeping in class a few times. I would fall asleep while a teacher put on a movie or a video or when we had an easy day. Chocachatti is a performing arts school so we would do plays and musicals all the time. I would always get an easy A without much effort, but this course provided me with a real challenge. I found that the grading was much more critical and the content expected was at a much higher level than ever before. However, all of the challenges I faced in this class proved to beneficial to me as I did end up getting a better grade with each paper. This class brought me many great experiences and taught me countless lessons, some that will last a lifetime. One of most valuable lessons this class taught me was how to manage my time more effectively. I suffer from a bad case of procrastination, but the amount of time allotted for each of these essays didn’t give me time to do much procrastinating. I became much better at just writing instead of sitting and thinking what I should say.
