School Bells…
I started kindergarten at Spring Hill Elementary School. There my teacher’s name was Mr. Shortner. Around half way through the year I won student of the month at that school and not even three days later I switched schools to Chocachatti. My kindergarten teacher’s name there was Mrs. Noark. Everyone thought she was the best teacher ever. She didn’t like to give us homework so we used to call her Mrs. No Work. She was really nice and loved teaching the class. My mom was excited for me to go to kindergarten. She was excited because she wanted me to learn in a new environment and meet new friends and have fun new experiences. When I was in kindergarten I got in trouble for sleeping in class a few times. I would fall asleep while a teacher put on a movie or a video or when we had an easy day. Chocachatti is a performing arts school so we would do plays and musicals all the time. I remember my class was connected to another class in the hallway to get to the other class there was a little stage and seats for the audience. My fourth grade teacher’s name was Mr. Tyree. He was really fun and loved to play games while teaching and he had in interesting way in teaching. Every week we would read a little story and by the end of the week we would have some tests on it. If the class average was equal to or higher than a 70% then we got a snack that resembled the story we read that week. We also had this thing at Chocachatti called A.R. it was when you got tested on the book you read and you got points if you passed the test. Each month Mr. Tyree would challenge the class to get to a certain number of points and if we did we got to do have a celebration by the end of the month. One time we got to slime him another time we smashed pie in his face. That’s he got our class to read more and
