...Malunggay as ointment ABSTRACT The Malunggay leaves are highly nutritious, being a significant source of Vitambeta-carotein C, protein, iron and potassium. The leaves are cooked and used like spinach. In addition to being used fresh as a substitute for spinach, its leaves are commonly dried and crushed into a powder, and used in soups and sauces. Ointment is one of the medicine that can cure wounds. The procedures are all the materials will be gathered. Leaves will be pounded .Pounded leaves of Malunggay will be extracted. The extract will be boiled. Boiled extract will then be cooled. The boiled extract will be put in a sterilized small bottle/container for storage /preservation. The product will then be applied to an open wound with the use of cotton. I therefore conclude that the malunggay leaves can be a substitute medicine in curing open wounds but its odor matters. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I, the researcher extend my gratitude to my parents for the support in making this, and to my classmates for giving me the courage in pursuing this study. And most especially to our Almighty God for giving me the wisdom in making this study possible. Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION Background of the Study Malunggay grows very wildly in hot tropical climate and it is mainly found in the Philippines. ...Newton's First Law of Motion: I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. | This we recognize as essentially Galileo's concept of inertia, and this is often termed simply the "Law of Inertia". Newton's Second Law of Motion: II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector. | This is the most powerful of Newton's three Laws, because it allows quantitative calculations of dynamics: how do velocities change when forces are applied. Notice the fundamental difference between Newton's 2nd Law and the dynamics of Aristotle: according to Newton, a force causes only a change in velocity (an acceleration); it does not maintain the velocity as Aristotle held. This is sometimes summarized by saying that under Newton, F = ma, but under Aristotle F = mv, where v is the velocity. Thus, according to Aristotle there is only a velocity if there is a force, but according to Newton an object with a certain velocity maintains that velocity unless a force acts on it to cause an acceleration (that is, a change in the velocity). As we have noted earlier in conjunction with the discussion of Galileo, Aristotle's view seems to be more in accord with common...

...Measuring Soil Erosion Purpose: Soil erosion is a serious problem in our world today. The purpose of this project is to determine its effect, the damages that it does to our lives and in what ways can we prevent it to happen. Procedure: 1. Find patches of different types of soil that are on slight slopes or hillsides. a. Alternatively, you could look for patches of the same soil type with different amounts of plant cover, for example, bare soil and a grassy area. b. Alternatively, you could compare different degrees of slope with the same soil type and plant cover. c. Choose a sufficient number of sites so that you can compare the variable of interest as the sole change between sites. For example, if you wanted to investigate degree of slope, you should select at least three sites with similar soil types and plant cover but different slopes. If you want to investigate the effect of plant cover, select at least three sites with similar slope and soil type, but different amounts (or types) of cover. 2. For each test site, make 3 sampling containers. d. Cut the tops off plastic bottles such as soda bottles or milk jugs. Use the utility knife safely: keep your fingers away from the path of the blade. e. Use the same size bottle for all sites. f. Bury each container so the lip is even with or slightly below the soil surface. 3. Weigh the soil that collects in the containers after each rain. Dry the soil in an oven before you weigh...

Go and build houses for yourselves, just remember there is a big bad wolf out there so be careful and make your houses strong.” “Yes mother” Said the three little pigs “We will be ready for it” Oinky the oldest pig, was so lazy to build a house so he thought of making a house of straw.” Doinky the Second little pig likes to play a lot so he thought of making a house of sticks. Boinky the third little pig was clever enough to know that the big bad wolf is strong so he thought of making a house of bricks. One day, Oinky was outside of his house of his house when the big bad wolf came, Oinky quickly run and locked the door. “Little pig, little pig let me come in.” cried the wolf “No, no by the hair of my chinny chin chin I will not let you in.” Replied the little pig “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff an I’ll blow your houses away” Shouted the wolf. The big bad wolf blew away Oinky’s house of straw and Oinky run to Doinky’s house of sticks. The following day the big bad wolf passed by Doinky’s house of sticks and saw the two pigs inside. “Little pigs, little pigs let me come in.” cried the wolf “No, no by the hair of our chinny chin chin we will not let you in.” Replied the two little pigs “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff an I’ll blow your houses away” Shouted...

...What is Covenant? A covenant is a contract or agreement between two or more parties. Covenant is how God has chosen to communicate to us, to redeem us, and to guarantee us eternal life in Jesus. These truths, revealed in the Bible, are the basis of Christianity. The Bible is a covenant document. The Old and New Testaments are really Old and New Covenants. The word "testament" is Latin for Covenant. There is a pattern to the covenants found in the Bible. Basically, it is as follows. The initiating party describes himself and what He has done, then there is a list of obligations between the two (or more) parties. What follows is the section dealing with rewards and punishments that govern the keeping and breaking of the covenant. The Ten Commandments fit this pattern and are a covenant document. My Covenant With God As, a student of Sta. Teresa College which is catholic school, I will always love Him. I will always attend mass especially during an advent season and also during Christmas. And because of STC, my faith to God become strong and my knowledge about God is widen. I will also avoid bad doings like being a selfish. How would you perform your covenant with God? I will perform my covenant with God by doing His words. Because God will never neglect us because God loves us. He will always here for us, He will always protect us in any calamities or problems. What are my covenant with my parents? I will always respect and love them. Because if they are not...

...Performance in Research Through the Use of Science Investigatory Project Problem : What is the effect of using the science investigatory project on the performance of the students in Research? I. Problem Situation The advent of new and up-to-date curriculum has brought into focus the need to match the new science programs with the appropriate teaching method. As applied to classroom teaching, method has something to do with the way a teacher communicates the subject to the students. The strategy should include regular steps to guide the mental processes of the learners in mastering the subject being presented to them. The Science Investigatory Project (SIP) is an undertaking for science students which need an application of certain scientific principles and ideas. One of its aims is to develop one’s capacity in order to actively and effectively participate in the solution of problems being faced by the community through the application of rational and creative thinking process in search for the solution of the problem. For four years of teaching Research I in Pedro Guevara Memorial National High School, the researcher observed that the students are not aware of the important contribution of the research to man’s life. They tend to ignore it as a subject, which is manifested by their negative attitude towards it and low performance in the Research subject. Students belonging to the Special Science Classes are expected to acquire high...
