Epilogue : The Truth
After being visited by the spirits, Scrooge changed his ways and donated a big amount to charities. Some of the money went to his clerk, Bob Cratchit, and his family.
“God bless everyone,” cried Tiny Tim. After Scrooge’s personality changed, Tiny Tim wondered what made Scrooge change that night; Everyone in the town wondered, too. Scrooge always replied by saying it was a Christmas miracle.
After a day of complete happiness, Scrooge hopped into bed and fell asleep. He dreamt of all the smiling faces he helped that Christmas day. Suddenly, he awakes from a cold winter breeze. I don’t recall leaving my window open thought Scrooge. He stares at the window blankly.
“You are correct Scrooge, I did,” says a woman that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. She was wearing a simple, but beautiful lace dress. “Do you not recognize me?” asked the woman, “I suppose you wouldn’t, for you only saw me as a child.” …show more content…
It was only when she nodded, that he noticed she seemed to be floating, almost as if she was not truly human. However, after seeing so many spirits, he didn’t seem at all frightened by her.
“That’s right, Scrooge. I came here to tell you the truth.” began the spirit “It was I who sent the spirits to teach you a lesson.” Scrooge was now as pale as the snow- he couldn’t believe it. “That’s not all, my dear. I have one last lesson to teach
