Section Leader Application What band means to me is far more important than what i can put into words. I have marched with the FORCE for the last two summers and how proud i am to be a member of such a great band is outstanding. It feels great to start off the school day in concert band and ending it with jazz band. There is not one part of band I do not like. I love playing at football games while freezing to death. I love playing basketball games while struggling not to hit the pole thing in front of me with my slide. The past year I got into some trouble in my personal life and band helped me through a lot of it. Whenever i would get mad or upset, I would spend hours practicing and I personally think that is why i have improved so much in the past year. Band is not just a class to me. Its where I feel like I belong. How I can express my emotions through music even though during IPA it looked like I did not even want to be here even though it was the only place I wanted to be. I want to be a section leader in the Force because I would love to be able to have impact on our success. I know what is expected of a leader and I …show more content…

Once you have accomplished everything for yourself then you can worry about helping others on what they need to do. If you are a leader then you can show others what needs to be does by actions rather than
