Selena's life from beginning to end

Selena was born into a Mexican American family and grew up with her father's musical influence due to his past experiences in the industry. Her father also put together their family band after listening to Selena sing and made the children practice more than play this continues for quite a while eventually using the group as entertainment for her father's restaurant. The problem her father had was he was Mexican yet unable to sing Mexican music which was his downfall so he forced the group to sing it. The group now known as Selena e los Dino's named after her father's original group started to play at gigs and festivals but they ran into a problem. Many people did not like or approve since she was a female and she was Mexican.

Finally over the years she started to gain widespread success her brother started to produce her music and sister continued to play drums for the band. She continued success and started to play and respect her Mexican …show more content…
Her fan club manager told the family to give her money and she'd get her a ring as a present. But her family started to notice problems it turns out her fans had not been receiving the signed pictures they had paid for and had been ripped off the fan club manager had been stealing the money. The fan club manager had access to the tax records that the group needed for tax returns Selena needed to get the tax records so she decided to confront her about it and get the records herself. The two met at a motel the manager had been staying at and argued about the stealing of money and the records. Selena was then chased out of the motel and as she went to exit the room was shot in the back with a pistol causing her to scream and run the the office section and bleed out behind the desk but not before saying who her shooter
