A Movie Star In The Making
When I was younger I was always obsessed with watching any movie Selena Gomez was in. She inspired me so much that one time I was watching one of her movies she was in, and I bought the same purse and lip gloss she had in the movie and thought i was so cool. Selena Gomez is an amazing person, from charity donations to making girls feel worthy and beautiful. Although Selena Gomez had some rough times throughout her life, she has managed to live a healthy, and amazing life.

In september 2017 Gomez revealed that advancing the symptoms of lupus had forced her to undergo a kidney transplant earlier in the year, with her roommate and best friend Francia Raisa serving as her donor. (billboard). “At the 2017 women in music event in los angeles Gomez sobbed during her acceptance speech as she made her opening remark after being presented with the award from raisa.” (Time). Gomez thinks her best friend who helped her get the award by being her donar should get the award. Gomez didn't want to worry her fans when she got the surgery so she announced it in april. Gomez says she is so focused with her music career she sometimes forgets the people in her life. “I've never been so proud to be a women in this industry than i do today”. Gomez said in her acceptance speech.
