This hagiography of Selena Quintanilla Perez, the Mexican-American pop star who was shot to death at the age of 23, doesn't contain a single word or image that suggests she was ever anything less than a perfect angel. She may have been a bit vulgar that time she stripped off her top and pranced around the stage in a bustier. Yet, the biggest problem occurs when Selena falls in love with her lead guitarist Chris Perez, and Abraham fires him from her band. True love can't be pushed out of the way for long. Selena was a Latin recording artist.
