Cameroon is an interesting country because of its culture, its climate, and its crops. In Cameroon, culture is diverse and its helps to appreciate family values. It is also a mean of the nation. The climate is diversified, and that is advantageous for the plants. Moreover, crops farming have a variety of plants, and benefit the economy of the country. Culture in Cameroon derivates from the behavioral patterns of people, their belief systems, their principles of live, and their living condition. The interesting point is that people settled in different community according to the language they used for communication. For instance, Bamileke, Bassa, Batti,and Haoussa are some tribe where each can be identify because culture gives them a character of their own. Even though each tribe has different way to dress and speak, it has in common the belief in extended family. Living together helps to reduce stress amount people by organizing “tontine”. The goal of the ‘tontine” is to meet all together in someone’s house, and during the meeting, one person randomly selected during the meeting become beneficiary. In addition, according to the culture, people have to meet together to assist a person in moment of happiness or sadness. Culture is a wealth for the nation because of its diverse forms of art that keeps our history alive in the National museum. By doing so, our culture is kept from generation to generation, and people learned more about our tradition by visiting the museum. Moreover, culture is a financial wealth because not only each tribe develops a particular type of crops based on their environment; they also have enough for their own use. The excess of their product is traded, and the money is used to by what they do not have. The climate in Cameroon is diversifying. It has a Guinea type of climate characterized by four seasons such as one gig raining season, one big dry season, one small raining season, and one small dry season. In addition, the climate varies across its diverse terrains. For instance, tropical climate is humid in the south but increasingly dry towards the North. This type of climate is beneficial in the way that there are many types of cultures that exist in Cameroon. Furthermore, some tree crops help in traditional medicine. Usually the climate change on crops farming; it remain the dominant influence on the variety of crops cultivated and the type of agriculture practiced. In fact, rice, ble, and peanut are predominantly from the north Cameroon with the dominance of dry season. Vegetables are growing in the west because of the particular weather in the area. The variation climatic is consequence of the geographic position of the country from the equator .more importantly, the climate makes people having a particular shape of accumulating the grown for plants. For illustrate the weather and the wind in the North Cameroon does not allow accumulating the grown because there is sand all over the place. Whereas in the south, the ground is accumulated in circle, and in the west, the grown is accumulated in a rectangle. Crops farming is diversify in Cameroon. The agriculture is often limited by seasonality and the availability of moisture. There are a lot of foods that allows variety in the meals of Cameroonians. Crops are more numerous in my country than other such as Gabon where very often, people have rice or couscous as their daily food. In Cameroon we have a variety of products such as cacao, coffee, tobacco, cotton, and bananas. Moreover, famine rarely exists because there are subsistence crops available. They are plantain, sweet potatoes, cassava, corn, and millet. Those foods can be eaten in different ways. With favorable agricultural conditions, Cameroon has a wonderful primary commodity economy and potential of growth. Its economy is predominantly agrarian and agriculture. Some other commercial products such as rubber, palm products, and sugarcane are exported which makes the nation’s economy better. Cameroon is blessed with copious natural resources.
