For this discussion assignment; I have chosen and read the “Salt” by Sherman Alexie because of the short and simplicity of the title.
The story is about an 18-year old Indian boy who works as an intern for Spokesman-Review newspaper. At the last note and will/testament of his supervisor, he was chosen to write her obituary, where he had no choice but do it. In the interim, he was then instructed to write obituaries. As an amateur, he had quoted wrong pricing and pity an old lady (widowed) and he was left without a choice but to meet the old lady to collect her own obituary writing and the photo of his late husband.
