On the morning of January 22nd, 1996, Sherry Sherret-Robinson found hеr four-month-old son, Joshua, lying face down on his bed with his skin blue and body stiff. She immediately callеd 911, and medics took them to the hospital, but unfortunately couldn’t save him and Joshua passed away.
Charles Smith, now a disgraced pathologist, performed an autopsy on Joshua and claimed he found multiple injuries on the baby’s body like, swelling in the brain and in the neck tissue. He believed and told police and Children’s Aid that Sherry had suffocated Joshua to death.
As a result of suspicion, on March 7th, 1996 Sherry’s eldest son, Austin who was 18 months old at the time, was taken away from her and put up for adoption. .

Which she did “confess” on June 2nd, 1999 because she felt like she had no other choice, and was sentence to a year in prison.
