Smack. Smack. Smack. Trevor Bauer, the American Leagues starting pitcher fires in 95 MPH fastballs towards his catcher Russell Martin.
He calls balls in, but his catcher, Russell yelled, “Try and strike a guy out.”
Bauer gave him the thumbs up, and he fired three straight strikes. Bauer and Martin walk out of the bullpen back to the clubhouse. Hours pass, with a full schedule for the players: American and National League. They had a ping pong tournament, and all was well with Madden 17, foosball, and air hockey, but little did they know, there would be sabotage later.
“The Homerun Derby starts at 8, so I need Lindor, Napoli, Bryant, Harper, Bautista, Donaldson, Rizzo, and Ramirez,” Francona smiled.
They went down into the conference room,…show more content… A few minutes later, the trainer was still working on Bauer, and the delay had been extended since every HRD participant was in the clubhouse. 5 minutes later the derby started up, and Josh Donaldson destroyed the ball, and was up against Jose Ramirez in the final.
“Hey Trev, come down here a second.” Edwin Encarnacion smirked.
“Yeah sure what’s up dude?” Trevor asked.
“Just come here.” Edwin croaked.
Just then, the players in the dugout jumped, because of the loud boom, that sounded like a gunshot. Kluber was the first one down into the clubhouse and he saw someone in a Blue Jays hat, and a jersey that had the number 19. The two figures ran to the right, and all the All-Stars crowded into the bathroom. A voice echoed,
“Stay back! I’m armed.”
Then, Kluber broke the stall door down and the team pushed in and punched the figures. The figures eventually surrendered, and the final results were in.
“It was Jose Bautista. He sabotaged Trevor Bauer’s drone, and he was found with a gun in his back pocket of his baseball pants.” Kluber proved his point.
Bauer ended up okay, despite a gunshot in his throwing arm, and he went on to win AL Cy
