Racell SAPHIRE was founded in Denmark by three professors in Physics in 1981 and is the
European pioneer of Solar Energy. The company covers all the advanced technology skills from

PV Starlight

The SAPHIRE adaption to architecture shows on the new
110 m tall Aarhus City Tower in 2014. The South facade is covered by 1800 m2 built-in solar cells, but as requested by the Arkitema Architects they are invisible to the eye and look exactly like the other facades of the building.

The new generation SAPHIRE roof elements require no underroof. The strong PVT solar modules = the actual roof structure. The roof elements produce (1) electricity
(2) heat and (3) cooling. Roof elements + three energies all-in-one. The new Arkitema office- & hotel building in Aarhus. The South facade is covered by 1800 m2 built-in PV modules from Racell Saphire.
