In the case management simulation I am a CEO of Spectrum Sunglass company who want to differentiate spectrum products and overall company from my competitors by going into a more environmental friendly product other than price and design. I pitch the idea of forming a task fork to make the company and its products more environmentally sustainable. Andrew Chen, the General Counsel interjects that the sustainability project opens up the company to unnecessary legal risks. Luke Filer, the VP of Operations, expresses concern about the impact of these changes on raw material costs and production processes. These are used to move the people in the interest to trail and some trail to adopter by showing action rather than trying to tell them about the change. Since there are more people showing support these decision allow me to increase my creditability along with adopter. The sustain stage I restructure organization, announce goals and deadlines, privately confront resister, and Revise reward system. During the sustain stage I choose decision that will take action that will start the project. In restructuring the organization it show that we are moving toward the change along with goals and deadlines of what need to be done and when. High authority and high credibility will make the change run smother, compare to someone who have low credibility and no authority. I also learn that you should forces on the people who are interest in the change as they will be the first to become adopter than move on the fence sitter. You should also not confront the resister unless you have a high number of adopters and increase his/her awareness and interest, than privately confront the resister. Having a high credibility will help turn the resister into an adopter even if the still don’t agree with the change that you will
