The fundamental reason of why I want to join ‘NYC Ladders for Leaders’ is to gain work experience. I know that many leaders do not solely base their success upon grades and limiting their views to academic diligence. Leaders strive to be independent and go outside to expand their own knowledge or horizon, whether to discover a new interest or improve upon a certain skill set. I came to this program because it will give me the opportunity to provide first-hand experience on what it is like to work in the real world.
