Anxiety can be seen in our everyday life of balancing our jobs, our family, personal problems are in a growing need to upgrade yourself academically your studies can become a source of anxiety. Managing your time in order to meet your deadlines for test, discussion board with your fellow classmates or keeping up with dates for turning in papers all can create a level of anxiety for students. As a student, you are constantly balancing our anxiety levels and those can levels can build as we are preparing for test, because we anticipate what question may or may not be asked, om the test so it quiet normal to feel some anxiety sometimes during your academic career. Anxiety may even help motivate you and increase your performance or it could affect your academic performance. In this study we seek to examine the relationship between student’s anxiety for an exam and the number of hours studied.
In statistic when we want to determine the relationship between the dependent and independent variable we are looking for a correlations according to Argosy (2014) correlation strictly determines whether a relationship exists between the two variables under investigation relationship exist. According to Argosy (2014) the use of correlation coefficient process is to be able to make predictions based on existing positive and negative relations. However, if we know the value of one variable, that we should be able to predict the value of the other variable. It’s also important thing to remember about correlations is that whether they are negative or positive, is that they do not determine causation. In this study the variables being measured are or should be quantitative in this example, both student anxiety scores and study hours are quantitative variables meaning both anxiety and hours are represented by numerical values.

...The Progress of Women in the Barbadian Educational System: Then till Now The development of the educational system in Barbados has followed closely the development of the English system, at least until recent years, and the situation of women within that system, both as pupils and as teachers, has been no exception. When Barbadian schools first began to thrive in the nineteenth century, most of the provision was restricted to primary education. There were more or less equal numbers of boys and girls attending these schools, which can be attributed particularly to a new-found parental appreciation of the importance of education to children of both sexes. However, the pupils were segregated into separate classes, and the beginnings of a pattern which later expanded more strongly can be seen.
