The Green Mile, written by Stephen King, remains a world-renowned novel that was eventually turned into a movie by the director Frank Darabont. The green mile, a term used at the Cold Mountain Penitentiary, happens to be referred to as “the green mile” for the reason that at Cold Mountain there is a long green hallway that leads to where all the executions take place. The novel focuses on the narrator, Paul Edgecomb and his story on why John Coffey, an inmate at Cold Mountain, was the last execution that Paul took part in. The novel did a wonderful job showing just how far you're willing to go for a job, and the injustice of society. Nevertheless, the film measures above and beyond my expectations after reading the novel. The Green Mile,
