We use it to express our self in various situations and ways, Martin Luther King used it to stop the slavery, Ghandi used it to stop violence, and today a girl named Malala Yousafzai uses it to fight for Pakistan women’s rights. The language has so many different nuances and can be used in many dissimilar ways compared to the situation. The standard language indicates a language without dialect and with a neutral style. The Standard English is also called “King’s English” and is a result of James the Firsts terms in office. In James the Firsts period as the King of England it was believed that the sovereign’s use of language should serve as a model but the language has developed through decades since. The developed language is clear in the song “Sexy and I know it” by LMFAO. The song “LMFAO- sexy and I know it” has several deviances from the standard language. There is a lot of spoken language, for example “pants outta control”. The word “outta” is spoken language. The writer has chosen to write it as it sounds, instead of “out of” because it gives rhythm and forms alliteration for example “This is how I roll, animal print, pants outta control”.
