Strategic leadership will allow people to work in roles that best fit their strengths and help the organization push forward in a positive manner. Communication is a key to success as a leader. Strategy should be communicated thoroughly as much as possible to make sure everyone is acting on it and isn’t confused about their task. Having a well-structured plan simplifies decision making and makes it easier to pass up distracting initiatives. In conclusion, strategic leadership is very important because you need structure in an organization and structured is best created through communication. This article was very helpful and enabled me to get a better understanding of strategic leadership. I think it pertains to me personally because I can apply the message in the article to my job.
