The target market for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is aimed at any smartphone user. With the constant changes in demands for new and improved smart devices Samsung has created a new device to try and meet these demands with a bigger screen, more memory, and better graphics. By improving these items they are trying to make them more appealing to their target market by helping improve their devices to make their use of smartphones more desirable. Young adults and youth cover most of their target market to improve gaming and social media to keep in touch and with more memory they can save more applications and pictures to their phone. There are many ways that Samsung is attempting to meet target needs by meeting consumer’s wants and needs in a smart device. There is always something new coming out and there are changing demands daily. With IPhone out new phones Samsung is trying to appeal to Apple consumers with creating a similar device but with the Samsung operating system to move more customers to their side. The cell phone industry is one of the largest growing industries in the world. It is very rare to see a person without a cellphone and most cellphones are smart phones so therefore Samsung has to come up with new and improved devices to help reach their target market and fulfill their target needs. Samsung’s biggest competitor would be Apple with the new IPhone six that just came out Samsung had to compete to bring out a different phone to appeal to smartphone users. Their hope is to do that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. There are multiple similarities between the Alpha and IPhones to try and appeal to IPhone users such as they are both made glass screen and aluminum frame (Keys).
