Upon reading these articles, the following strengths and weaknesses were evident. In the first article The Labtop Ate My Attention Span, students and professors were able to come to an understanding of why students bring labtops to classes. This understanding was established based on the fact that recent generations have grown up with technology. Common ground is the second strength in this article. Due to an experience Mrs. McEnry had involving technology, she can relate to the necessity of having a labtop. One of the weaknesses that was apparent was the trouble of monitoring if students were really doing school work.
