...Semester Two Journal and Study Guide CISCO SYSTEMS NETWORKING Academy CCNA 2 Chapter 1 WANs and Routers One major characteristic of a wide-area network (WAN) is that the network operates beyond the local LAN's geographic scope. It uses the services of carriers, such as regional Bell operating companies (RBOCs), Sprint, and MCI. WANs use serial connections of various types to access bandwidth over wide-area geographies. By definition, the WAN connects devices that are separated by wide areas. That is, it needs to be directly linked to the syllabus standards. Syllabus standards are defined at: https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/policies/ curriculum/schools/curric_plan/ policystandards161006.pdf 2. Assessment should be appropriate. Assessment needs to provide nformation about the particular kind of learning in which we are interested. This means that we need to use a variety of assessment methods because not all methods are capable of providing information about all kinds of learning. For example, some kinds of learning are best assessed by observing students; some by having students complete projects or make products and others by having students complete paper and pen tasks. Writing In A Colllage Class

...In any collage class a student is handed a syllabus and is expected to read it on the first day. Some students will use this document for the rest of the semester to find the expectations for themselves and professors of the class. This genre of writing is used to lay out class expectations, any major polices that they school or teacher may have, and the major assignments in the class along with how they are graded. According to my Introduction to Statistics Syllabus college students are expected to show up to class on time and to turn in all work on time. Students are expected to participate in class and to respect both the teacher and their peers. This is euphuized because college students come from all different backgrounds and no two are alike. If a student does not feel welcomed in a class or feels that others do not allow them to have a supportive learning space they will not interact in the class. One is also expected to go and get help if they are struggling. This is important because to be successful you must actively seek out what you need. In my stats class, getting help is going to the algebra alcove or going to the professor for help. This skill is very important in...

In 2007 61% of countries identified Physical Education as an examinable subject in comparison to the considerable number of countries which identify Maths as examinable. The junior cycle physical Education syllabus states that ‘the general aim of education is to contribute towards the development of all aspects of the individual’. How then I question, is...
