Aisenberg uses question marks at the end of each line, for example “devour him himself?”, “husbanded the groves?” and “however briefly, to tears?” (Aisenberg 6, 9, 18) creating a persistent tone, as if the author is interrogating the readers about the obstacles facing Achilles.
