The author is trying to explain a broad topic about the early peoples in Mississippi by dividing the small book into four titles; Childhood, High school, College and Movement. Actually, there are many key points in this book. We can get knowledge on variety of new things by reading this book. Among them, the three major impression of this book me were racial discrimination, curiosity of Annie on mistreatment of black and, unstoppable and never giving up quality of Annie.
At that time in Mississippi, there was a huge discrimination between the white people and black
