In the essay “Moral Machines” by Gary Marcus, he talks about life with self driving cars. If we had these self driving cars, while it would be much easier, there would be times that it wouldn’t be and cars can’t make the same decisions that we can. He talks about how if there is a bus full of children and a car, what do you do? The car has to make that decision for you, and it might bot be a good one. One thing is that these cars, they might end up making more accidents since we aren’t able to communicate like we normally do with other drivers on the road, which is an issue.
