In Reflections: Growing-Up Grown by David Jacobsen, The story start all by him thinking about he was young nothing but 10th year old when he got to know what the real world was really like for a Latina males. At the age of ten he was arguing with electric company, ordering cable, fighting parking tickets in court, doing income-tax returns, cooking and cleaning the house. His mother was a non-English Latina speaker so she started working as a bartender the early 90s but, after that job became an exotic dancer. He said one of the most spectacular memories of his childhood took place court Paterson NJ when he was sixteen he kind known for years that his mother dancer when his mother asked him to go courts with her because she run into problem a couple year that needed resolution. …show more content…
When he when to court he thought he was going to be a ten minute argument with a credit card company but turn at to be she was charged with a felony for prostitution he clearly had no idea. By sixteen he got a job at Newark as a piano instructor that’s took him 39 bus and late and lonely nights Penn station. By seventeen, he was applying for college by himself. They lost a lot of things throughout his life time. When it came time for Jacobsen to go to college his mother gave the little that she did have up. His grandmother also contributed for Jacobsen to go to College. Mother pushed him no strong argument to make her happy good men go to
