This paper is about a case review called “Marion and the pacemaker,” by Bonnie F. Fremgen, it discusses the health condition of 92 year old woman, called Marion. She contracted pneumonia within weeks of being at the nursing home, upon completing her treatment a physician notice an irregular heart beat and suggest she had a pacemaker implantation. Given Marion’s age and her underweight condition the daughter decided it was not the best choice of treatment for her mother at the time.
