However, Lars Eighner, author of “My Daily Dives In the Dumpster,” prefers to only consume. By consuming, Eighner only obtain the items he needs, therefore he does not have anything to dispose. This method is completely differently than what most people do today. Americans waste nearly 1 million pounds of materials per person every year.
