.In the story Sound of Thunder, by, Ray Bradbury, there were many different things that took place. The story starts with a man named Eckels, who goes into a building named TIME SAFARI, INC to travel back in time to shoot the animal he picks. When Eckles entered the building, he saw a man at the front desk and waved the 10 thousand dollars he had to travel back in time. The man at the desk proceeded to tell Eckles that he needed to follow all the directions that his safari guide (Mr. Travis) says or else he would suffer bad consequences. Eckles and the rest of the crew who was going back 60 million years climbed into the time machine, put their helmets on, tested their intercoms, and proceeded to go back in time. They all proceed to walk down the path and get told to only shoot when told and only to shoot the animals with the red markings. As they were walking they began hearing the lovely beast they picked out. Eckels proceeded to walk down the path and began to start getting scared and saying things such as “This thing can’t be killed” and “We were fools to come. This is impossible. Travis the safari guide told Eckels that he needed to be quiet and stop freaking out. Eckels said out loud that he wanted out of it so Lesperance said to Eckels that to walk back to the time machine and to not run. Eckels ended up getting distracted by the large beast and took a step off the path. Once they had shot the Tyrannosaurus Rex they all went back to the time machine where they found Eckels shivering out of fear. Travis the safari guide began yelling at Eckels because he stepped off the path and he could have ruined something in the past and it could mess up the whole-time machine business. Travis told Eckels the only way that he was coming back with them was if he went and dug out all the bullets of the Tyrannosaurus Rex so Eckels went and dug out all the bullets from the
