Vietnam War was one of the deadliest war fought in American History. Stanley Karnow, the author of “Vietnam: A History” has composed many books such as "Paris in the fifties" "In our Image: America's Empire in the Philippines" and several other books. He graduated from Harvard with a bachelor's degree in 1947, and during World War II, he served with the United States Army Air Force in the China-India Burma Theatre. He had witnessed the Vietnam war and watched people suffer from it as he was present in the Vietnam in 1959. This resulted for him to compose the book "Vietnam A History" that was published in 1983. Unlike many other books which were printed in the 1960's and 70s, Karnow addressed all the sides of the conflict and traced Vietnam's
