The Figure of Lidtke Mill It just seemed like a normal day until it became dark, then things started to happen. Marley and a friend decided to go to Lidtke Mill. It was an autumn Saturday night, a little breeze of wind in the air, and a chill in the night. It was dark, only the moon giving them light. Violet, Marley’s friend was a dare devil, most of the time. If she got an idea in her head, she would instantly do it. Violet thought that going to Lidtke Mill would be an amazing idea. Everyone said that Lidtke Mill was haunted, to scare them. They live nearby, and wanted to prove them wrong. They snuck into the woods, and made their way to the Mill. Marley was a little skeptical about going to Lidtke Mill, but wanted to do this …show more content…
As they get closer, they hear it louder and louder. They look at each other, nod and keep walking closer. They get to where they can almost touch the boat. They don’t, they just stare in awe. Looking at the boat, they see a faint person in the boat. The person did not have much color, just very light.
Violet says “excuse me, but can I help you?”. The figure doesn’t move, it just stays in the same spot and is still whistling. The figure has a hat on. Violet goes up to touch the figure, but Marley pulls her back. They hear the figure breathing. Violet pauses, then moves her arm, and Marley let's go. Violet touches the figure, it shaders to dust. They look at each other in shock.
They walk back to the house and look inside. Nothing is there, the voice in the phone was gone. The chill in the night is gone. Everything was still. They walk into the house more, to see if there is anything weird going on. Everything is just fine. All of a sudden, the lights go on and the figure is back. It looks angrier, and looks at Violet. They try to run, but it catches them, and pulls them back. Things start falling off the shelves, things are shattering. The voice is back in the telephone and is way louder then it was before. The grudgy old man voice
