Sunrise Over Fallujah is a story telling what it was like when the Iraq war just started. The main characters are Sergeant Robert Harris, Corporal Marla Kennedy,Private Robin Perry aka (Birdy) and Jonesy are all apart of a Civil affairs team sent into help the people in town, they see what the people need and treat them if they are injured. The Civil affairs team was following behind the 3rd Infantry division. The 3rd infantry division was the lead and the strong fighting force for the civil affairs team.
