The perception of the future of the US Soldier applicable to the near forthcoming venture is multifaceted to say the least. In retrospect, General Milley’s vision of future combat encompasses the multi-domain tactics of fighting in all venues of the enemy’s modern and future approaches.
The first being that, future of modern warfare is won on a platform that is effervescent. It is continually displacement of levels that are translucent in nature, yet technologically inclined to leave all opposing forces immobile in its tracks. General Milley envisions a constant time-invariant stance on the war field projected in the form of assaults from concepts of soldiers that are tactical and technical by sea, land,…show more content… Holistically “cut-off from the rest of the force,” it will be a matter of trivial unit tactics that pave the battlefield into a new era of feud. Moreover, we will be held to the level of sheer determination knowing that as future soldiers “through the eyes” of General Milley contain the immediate “new-age” capabilities to search out and destroy the enemy with one toggle of the switch. The land we trek through in the future’s time span will opened by our futuristic and technological deterrents, that the rest of the joint forces will only aid to follow in suit.
Yet, our success will not only be inclined to one singular pivotal land based action, but that of that of multi-dominating initiative. As General Milley stated, “Our most valuable asset, our most…show more content… Combat troops will learn to adapt and overcome the physical, mental, and electronic, capabilities of one symmetric base that provides all, and in turn become a precise point of contact to itself. In that statement, we are turning the tides of previous combat maneuvering concept of operations from ground based interfaces to infiltrate off limit areas by expediting air and naval forces. Meaning that we are the vital roles of support in maintenance of the exact opposite of what we normally cover in the directional stand point for the conventional ground forces. These proclamations have been advised to us before by General Milley as he states that “we are on the cusp of a fundamental change in the character of ground warfare.” As he pointed out ever eloquently what war in itself is both “brutal and chaotic,” and it will never change its “face”. Blatantly, yet formidably, he has given us the proper insight to futuristic mentalities that give new meaning to the term “modern warfare.” He sees the new perspective of war as a modern society of transcending soldiers that do not necessarily need the approval of outside concept looking in the past. Meaning that an order is not always followed in the correct perspective of the battlefield as it is truly on perceived from the
