- Chris does a good job executing on the strong intro with both the team member and client.

- After verification, Chris asks the client for his email address so that it can be added into the system.

- Chris recommends that the client use his email address as his username and then goes on to give correct password requirements. This is good for efficiency.

Opportunities:

- Verify email address. Chris does not get confirmation from the client that the email address given was the one he wanted the registration link sent to. It is important that we get confirmation, as this helps to protect the security of the client. After asking the client for his email address, ask: "What I need to do next is to send you a registration link to your email, in order to create your account. Do you want to use this email address we just added?" …show more content…
Chris misses the opportunity to offer the client an empathetic acknowledgment regarding this myql call. It is important that we do this, as the expectation for the client is that this process be very quick and easy. Try: "I'm sorry for the trouble we're having getting this account created, I'll definitely be able to help you today..."

- Control. (6:28 - 8:04) Chris advises the client to add in a username and does not continue to guide the call. At 7:00 Chris advises the client of the password requirements and it is apparent that the client has already typed this in. The client advises "done!" and there is silence on Chris' part until until 8:04. We want to guide the call in order to maintain control and create a better call flow--this inturn creates a better client experience. Try always ending instructions with a pivot, such as: "let me know once you've typed that in..." "once you click ___, let me know what pops up next..."

There are further silences in the call that opportunities to check-in/offer guidance are

Swat Analysis of Software Company

...A SWOT Analysis view of the software development industry Georgios Kormaris Department of Information and Computing Sciences, Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands gkormari@cs.uu.nl WWW home page: http://www.cs.uu.nl/ Introduction I n the past twenty to thirty years many changes and developments have taken place in the software industry which started off during the 1960s mainly in the United States of America and experienced a revolutionary boom since the 1980s, Steinmueller, (1995). There are many different ways and methods of developing software and planning the strategy of a software development company, as we can derive from many recent research projects. Most of these projects are usually concerned with the way that software is developed and not with the way that the strategy of the company as a whole is planned, Cusumano, MacCormack, Kemerer, & Crandall, (2003). Another important factor is which techniques and methods are used to analyze company’s environment and how the strategy is formulated and implemented. In this paper we analyze a popular method for strategic planning which has been mostly used for product portfolio planning and strategic planning on an abstract level, as stated in a research paper by Houben, Lenie, & Vanhoof, (1999). We will focus our interest in the software industry and base our research on the case study of the Austrian software industry as it is presented by Bernroider, (2002). Additionally, certain guidelines are...

...SWOT is a tool that identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of an organization. SWOT analysis also refers to the process through which decision makers develop their awareness of organizational environments so as to influence performance now and in the future (Naryanan & Nath, 1993: 197). Specifically, SWOT is a basic, straightforward model that assesses what an organization can and cannot do as well as its potential opportunities and threats. The method of SWOT analysis is to take the information from an environmental analysis and separate it into internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external issues (opportunities and threats). Once this is completed, SWOT analysis determines what may assist the firm in accomplishing its objectives, and what obstacles must be overcome or minimized to achieve desired results. According to Investopedia, when using SWOT analysis, be realistic about the strengths and weaknesses of your organization. Distinguish between where your organization is today, and where it could be in the future. Also remember to be specific by avoiding gray areas and always analyze whether the company is better or worse than competition. Finally, keep your SWOT analysis short and simple, and avoid complexity and over-analysis since much of the information is subjective. Thus, use it as a guide and not a prescription.  This paper seeks to evaluate the strategic implications of the SWOT analysis model of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority...

Iqbal Hossain Patwary ID No: EMBA- 12020701 Department of Marketing Comilla University S.W.O.T. ANALYSIS Identifying my Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats A SWOT analysis is a term used to describe a tool that is effective in identifying my Strengths and Weaknesses, and for examining the Opportunities and Threats you face. While it is a basic, Straight forward model, it has been a popular business practice for many years because it helps provide direction and serves as a basis for the development of business plans. It accomplishes this by examining the strengths (what an operation does well) and weaknesses (what an operation does not do well) in addition to opportunities (potential favorable conditions for an operation) and threats (potential unfavorable conditions for an operation). Once completed, the SWOT analysis can help determine if the information indicates something that will assist the operation in achieving its objectives (a strength or opportunity), or if it indicates an obstacle that must be overcome or minimized to achieve desired results (weakness or threat). All Details to Do a Swot

...Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis is a business management tool used to evaluate an organization’s strength’s, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The tool is used to produce a model that can serve to provide direction in the development, formulation, and evaluation of project management plans. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis is an important step in the planing process that is often undervalued and omitted in constructing the project management plan. This basic management tool is straightforward and easy to use. Basically, factors are divided into internal and external issues. Based on the analysis of the information provided by the model, project management can better decide if the information gathered is something that will assist in accomplishing its objectives. Conversely, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis can also identify potential obstacles to success, as well as faults in the plan that must be addressed, controlled, or eliminated if the desired results are to be achieved. In order for the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis to be effective, project management must do more than simply identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved. Risk management demands that it is necessary to avoid, eliminate, or at the very least, minimize identified weaknesses and threats. Weaknesses should be closely scrutinized in order to determine...

Swot Analysis : the Basic Analysis Tool Though History

...Strategy Paper Students: Babouris Christos & Dennis M Vrbanjac Date: 05/09/2014 Instructor: Marie Bengtsson Course: Classic Leadership and Organization Dilemmas SWOT ANALYSIS: The basic strategic tool through history (?) It is generally known that in order to be competitive in a market, one must be able to see the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that lay the fundament of success in the organization. This analysis, is one of today’s perhaps most frequently used tools when analysing a company’s possibilities to be successful in the modern market situation. Moreover, the question is; where does this tool derive from? Is SWOT analysis a natural instinct of strategy that has been used throughout mankind, or is it constructed? Out of this natural perspective on the SWOT- analysis different tactics emerge. To begin answering this question, there will initially look back on the historical, cultural and social aspects that could be traced to be the core of the SWOT concept. Then the discussion will move on, to a practical application on a historical event and also a modern example where the SWOT can be identified. We will see the evolution of it, throughout ages and time. In order to understand our allegation, we must go back in time and see where these strategic notions “took birth”. No matter if we are in favour of religious philosophy, or the Darwin’s evolution theory, we can easily see early clues of actual swot analysis, but of course not as it...
