This investigation will explore the topic of: To what extent did Sylvia Mendez and her family have an effect on the Brown v Board of Education case? The Mendez v. Westminster Case will be the focus of this investigation, to allow for an analysis of how the actions of Sylvia Mendez and her family eventually resulted in the historic Brown vs. Board of Education Case.
The first source that will be evaluated in depth is “Mendez et al. v. Westminster School District of Orange County et al.”, which was written in 1946 by Paul John McCormick.
