“Revolution” word was very prominent in Tsunami Khan’s speeches, but another revolutionary person is now in the field. This revolutionary person came with slogan “Save the state instead of politics”. I was amazed when he succeeded in gathering thousands of people at Minar-e-Pakistan on 23rd December 2012. I was thinking who can be this person, from where he came, where he was till now and what can be his aim?
Dr. Tahir Al Qadri, is in fact a religious scholar, he has been living in Canada before arriving to Pakistan. On his very speech he expressed that he wants reforms. He threatened the government to bring reforms until 10th of January, 2013 otherwise 14th January would be day of the long march. What kind of reforms, he was unable to tell. I assumed that he is going to bring reforms in constitution. He wants Islamization in Pakistan. There were many estimates whether Dr. Tahir is going to establish a political party, whether he wants change without elections, whether he mis-guiding the people.
New Year arrived, it started with a lot of violence and bomb blasts in Karachi. I was in front of television. I heard the news that Dr. Tahir has joined MQM. Now he will be working as right hand of Altaf Hussain. He addressed in a large gathering. Long march was changed to Tahrir Squire. He assured the public and government that it would be the world’s largest and peaceful. It caused a lot of horror in the minds of ruling party. A person, who was confessed that there was no agenda behind him, is going to rattle the minds of the people which are already absurd. People, who are already lost the hopes of any change in peace perspective, will be tortured by this particular Tahrir squire because it can never be peaceful.
It is necessary to tell you what is Tahrir Squire. The square was originally called "Ismailia Square" after the 19th-century ruler Khedive Ismail, who commissioned the new downtown district's 'Paris on the Nile' design. After the Egyptian Revolution of 1919, the square became widely known as Tahrir Square, but the square was not officially renamed until the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, which changed Egypt from a constitutional monarchy into a republic. The square was a focal point for the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. It was also January.
Tahrir Square was the focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution against former president Hosni Mubarak. Over 50,000 protesters first occupied the square on 25 January, during which the area's wireless services were reported to be impaired. In the following days Tahrir Square continued to be the primary destination for protests in Cairo. On 29 January Egyptian fighter aircraft flew low over the people gathered in the square. On 30 January, the seventh day of the protests, BBC and other correspondents reported that the number of demonstrators had grown to at least 100,000, and on 31 January Al Jazeera correspondents reported that the demonstrations had grown to at least 250,000 people. On 1 February, Al Jazeera reported that more than 1 million protesters peacefully gathered in the square and adjacent streets. However, such media reports that so many people congregated in Cairo’s largest public square are believed to be exaggerated for political purposes and, accordingly to Stratfor analysis the real number of gathered protester never exceed 300,000 people.
The square became established as a focal point and a symbol for the ongoing Egyptian democracy demonstrations. On 2 February violence erupted between the pro-Mubarak and pro-democracy demonstrators here, followed by the 3 February 'Friday of Departure' demonstration, one of the named "day of" events centered in the square. Within a week, due to international media coverage, the image and name of Tahrir Square became known worldwide.
Questions arise here that if he is going for Tahrir Squire, how it will peaceful? Who will be responsible for lost of lives, lost of money, lost of properties? Questions are not restricted to these there are thousands of questions which are likely to be asked for the establishment of strong Pakistan. Need of time is that to tell that kind of western lobbies that yes, public can bring revolution but they will never compromise on the things that would be dangerous for stable Pakistan.

Difference Between The Knight And The Squire

...by Geoffry Chaucer, he tells a story about a knight and a squire. The knight and the squire just so happen to be father and son. Even though they are both aiming to be great and noble knights, they have different ways of getting there. Although they bear some minor similarities the difference between the knight and the squire are quit, clear. The knight is the most respected and honorable person on the pilgrimage. For example, he is motivated by his religion, and his service to the king. This shows that he is willing to put others and God before himself. This is important because this shows characteristics of a true and noble knight. In addition, the knight also does not care about how he dresses. He wears a fustian tunic stained with dark smudges from his armor. Therefore, this reflects on all the hard work the knight has put into battle. As a result the knight is what every knight should be....

The Squire In The Canterbury Tales

...In the prologue of the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer, he portrays the Squire as an aesthetically focused character and a fine knight-to-be, with fitting diction, and similes to describe the elegance, and desire for love of the young man, along with polysyndeton to list the endless talents of the Squire. Chaucer also shows the reader a stark contrast between the Squire and his father, the Knight, in how they carry themselves despite being in the same aristocratic societal class. The Squire, as described in the prologue, can be seen as fancy, talented, and respectable. Chaucer's diction aids in developing the Squire. In line 81, Chaucer calls him ,"...fine [and] young...", establishing quickly to the audience the Squire is to be respected, and falls into a class higher than that of many others. The Knight's son is also youthful and energetic, "...a lad of fire...", an intentional introduction on line 82 which leads into the illustration of the Squire's physical appearance of average height, swiftness and muscularity. Chaucer distinguishes the character's...

The Notebook

...Ariel Johnson Art of Theatre Play review Almost Maine I will be writing my play review on Almost Maine, A story about many different love stories and characters that go through many obstacles and challenges when trying to find love. I will get into my analysis of the actors in da play and how they grabbed my attention. In the beginning of the segment there were two characters, male and female who were sitting on the floor during a cold snowy Friday night; in the middle of winter. Due to the effects that there was white powder that surrounded the area and the actors were shivering and wearing heavy clothing. Throughout the segment, they both wore scarfs, hats and jackets. The actors used the empty spaces as the lines were spoken. Later on in other segments the use of props were of special value. For example in one scene characters used clay making of a shaped cartoon heart to indicate a broken heart. A Glass bottle was used as a beer bottle full of beer although it contained no liquid at all. The use of unseen spaces were very active throughout the play the knocks behind the stage were of somebody knocking on the door and the curtains displayed as a door in almost every scene. One scene in particular changed the way the curtains this time they weren’t used as a door they were used as sets of people in a party in which a hostess could be called just by the sound of a holler. The play itself used a lot of space on the stage. Each scene involved a new space that included some...
