This is a matter of fairness to all students. 2. Unlike assignments, the take home examination is not research based so you are not expected to utilise numerous journal articles. However, if you refer to an author in your answer, you should cite the year of publication and at the end of your exam, give the usual reference details (author's name, year of publication, title, etc etc). The end reference list does not count in your word limit. 3. You can take as many hours as you wish between the limits of 12 noon on Friday Nov 15 and midnight on Sunday, Nov 17. Of course this means you are likely to do a number of hours each day and not do the exam in one sitting! 4. You may discuss your work with other students, but what you submit must be your own work. Direct copying from sources ("cut and paste") is not permitted and like direct quotes, attracts zero marks. 5. Be sure to keep a hard and soft copy of your work. This is your responsibility. 6. Upload your completed exam to Moodle. You do not need to submit a hard copy. Do not email exams unless there is a technology failure with Moodle. 7. Guess I will settle in for this ten day adventure across the Atlantic. Wednesday – I wasn’t lying about the people. I feel like a sardine in a can. There must be 500 of us crammed in this compartment. And the fact that the dining room isn’t separated from the rest of the area makes me sick. They hygiene levels are just awful. ...Super Size Me is a 2004 American documentary film directed by and starring Morgan Spurlock. Morgan was to eat at McDonald’s three times a day, and consume each item on the menu at least once for 30 days. As a result Morgan gained 24½ lbs. (11.1 kg), a 13% body mass increase, a cholesterol level of 230, and experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and fat accumulation in his liver. Morgan risked his life to expose the secrets of fast food companies, and in particular McDonald’s to help educate the public. Examination of Bias: In the documentary, multiple forms of bias were exhibited, clearly establishing an anti-fast food campaign. Had the documentary not be biased, Morgan would’ve made some kind of an effort to get a hold of information that presented both sides of the story. Maybe what he did find was actually is the truth, but it was presented in bias. The audience can tell that Morgan started from the assumption that fast food is unhealthy, and everything in the movie only proves that point. One of the examples that spoke...

I was quite shy at that time because it was the first time I am hugging a female other than my mum. The class arranged themselves on the stage and shouted, “We love you, Miss Tay!” before everyone went back to our seats. I was not aware that our classmates intended to do this because other classes did not do this to their teacher. I was bewildered for a second but was glad that we were special. Soon when all the souvenirs and awards – for the prefects of our school – were given out, our school’s chairman, Venerable Ming Yi, gave everyone in the hall a blessing for our coming O’Level examination.
