Picture yourself 12 years old, your name is Talia Castellano and you live in
Orlando, Florida. You were born in 1999 on August 18th. You're battling two types of cancer, Neuroblastoma and Preleukemia that you were diagnosed with in 2007.
You go to school Monday through Friday. Besides the fact you have cancer, you are going on the Ellen show, becoming a spokesmodel for a blood center near where you live and you're collaborating with a cancer camp. In your spare time you make YouTube videos on your channel, "TaliaJoy18". I don't know about you, but for me that's way too much on my plate. But that's not too much for Talia Castellano. That's why Talia Castellano is the most effective citizen of the 20th century. Talia died of cancer at the age of 13. Although she lived a short life, with what she accomplished while she was young she could be old and wise. Talia has an infectious personality and achieved so many things at such a young age, like becoming…show more content… She continued to pursue her makeup, dream by filming makeup tutorials on her YouTube channel despite the cancer. She also tried as hard as she possibly could to the best of her ability to cure cancer. Even though she may have not succeeded, she continued to contribute in any way she could. Talia is selfless. She didn't walk around feeling awful for herself because she had cancer, instead, she helps others who also have cancer. She puts others before herself. Talia is filled with bravery. Talia never let the fear of dying stop her from supporting her belief of changing cancer. She once said, “ when it's my turn to go, i'll be okay with that.” This proves that she wasn't afraid. She was courageous and brave. She put herself out on the Internet for anybody to see. She could have been made fun of every day for being so young and teaching makeup tutorials, but that didn't stop her from posting those videos and inspiring
