SEJARAH PENUBUHAN DUTCH LADY

Tahun 1954
Selepas Perang Dunia Kedua, susu pekat manis diimport secara borong dari syarikat induk di Belanda melalui pengimport-pengimport dan pemborong-pemborong tempatan. Sebuah syarikat perdagangan Friesland (Malaya) Pte Ltd yang berpusat di Singapura telah ditubuhkan untuk memasarkan susu pekat manis yang diimport dari Belanda di Tanah Melayu dan Singapura. Beberapa jenama diimport, termasuklah jenama Dutch Baby.

Tahun 1963
Pacific Milk Industries (Malaya) Sdn Bhd telah diperbadankan di Malaysia dengan tugasannya sebagai kilang susu pekat manis di Petaling Jaya. Tapak kilang ini ialah kemudahan pengilangan luar negara yang pertama bagi syarikat induknya.

Tahun 1965
Kilang telah memulakan operasi dan mula menghasilkan susu pekat manis.

Tahun 1968
Pacific Milk Industries (Malaya) telah ditukar menjadi syarikat awam dan merupakan syarikat susu pertama yang disenaraikan di Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur dan Singapura.

Tahun 1975
Nama syarikat ditukar dari Pacific Milk Industries Berhad ke Dutch Baby Milk Industries (Malaya) Berhad untuk mengelakkan kekeliruan dalam perdagangan dan pasaran mengenai nama syarikat dan produk utamanya : Susu Pekat Manis Dutch Baby.
Tahun 1979
Minuman buah –buahan berjenama “JOY” telah diperkenalkan.

Tahun 1983
Pengilangan Susu Steril dalam botol plastik dimulakan.

Tahun 1984
Jenama telah ditukarkan dari “Dutch Baby” ke :Dutch Lady” untuk tujuan peletakan produk.

Tahun 1985
Sebuah bangunan tiga tingkat dibina untuk menampung keperluan kilang pembungkusan susu tepung apabila perniagaan semakin berkembang.

Tahun 1987
Syarikat mengalami aktiviti penyusunan semula ekuiti untuk mematuhi Dasar Ekonomi Baru kerajaan. Modal saham berkembang ke RM 16 juta. Susu Pasteur Dutch lady telah dilancarkan.

Tahun 1988
Yogurt Dutch Lady dan Susu Untuk Membesar diperkenalkan.

Tahun 1989
Untuk mematuhi dasar kebangsaan kerajaan untuk mempromosikan Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur, syarikat menarik balik penyenaraian sahamnya dari Bursa Saham Singapura.

Tahun 1994
Sebuah gudang baru telah dibina untuk menampung perkembangan perniagaan syarikat. Tenaga kerja telah mula bertambah sejajar dengan keperluan organisasi.

Tahun 1995
Syarikat menerima pengiktirafan di bawah piawai ISO 9001.

Tahun 1999
Dutch Lady menerima Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Award (Anugerah Emas Jenama Terbaik Reader’s Digest) kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu lebih digemari di Malaysia. Kilang Dutch Lady menerima pengiktirafan Sijil Piawaian HACCP (Sistem Analisis Bahaya dan Titik Pengendalian Kritikal – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).

Tahun 2000
Dutch Lady menerima anugerah kedua Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Award kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu lebih digemari di Malaysia. Syarikat menukar namanya daripada Dutch Baby Milk Industries (Malaya) Berhad kepada Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad, sejajar dengan jenama utamanya “Dutch Lady”, dengan iltizam baru “Goodness For Life” (Kebaikan Untuk Kehidupan).

Tahun 2001
Dutch Lady menerima anugerah ketiga Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Awards kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu yang lebih digemari di Malaysia.

Tahun 2002
Dutch Lady memenangi Anugerah Ekuiti Jenama (Brand Equity) untuk susu cecair. Kilang pensterilan susu Dutch lady menerima pengiktirafan Sijil Piawaian HACCP (Sistem Analisis Bahaya dan Titik Pengendalian Kritikal). Dutch Lady menerima anugerah keempat Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Awards kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu yang lebih digemari di Malaysia. Modal saham syarikat telah meningkat daripada RM 16 juta kepada RM 64 juta melalui terbitan bonus 3 untuk 1, mengikut peraturan Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur ketika itu.

Tahun 2003
Dutch Lady menerima sijil ISO 9001. Ia melancarkan rangkaian produk yang diperbaharui dengan DHA untuk bayi dan kanak-kanak. Kilang susu tepung Dutch Lady menerima pengiktirafan Sijil Piawaian HACCP (Sistem Analisis Bahaya dan Titik Pengendalian Kritikal). Ia juga menerima anugerah kelima Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Awards kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu yang lebih digemari di Malaysia.

Tahun 2004
Dutch Lady menukarkan imej jenama dan pembungkusan dengan tagline korporat baru “Get Ready For Life” untuk memberikan gambaran “tenaga” melalui gaya hidup dan kegiatan yang sihat. Ia menerima anugerah keenam Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Awards kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu yang lebih digemari di Malaysia.

Tahun 2005
Kilang susu tepung Dutch Lady menerima pengiktirafan Sijil Piawaian HACCP (Sistem Analisis Bahaya dan Titik Pengendalian Kritikal). Ia juga menerima anugerah ketujuh Reader’s Digest SuperBrands Gold Awards kerana dipilih sebagai jenama produk susu yang lebih digemari di Malaysia. Di samping itu, ia merupakan pemenang Anugerah Produktivit6i Tahun 2004 yang telah diiktiraf oleh Nasional Productivity Corporation (NPC) dalam kategori syarikat-syarikat yang mempunyai pulangan RM 100 juta ke atas.

Tahun 2006
Dutch Lady telah menderma pelbagai produknya bernilai RM 70,000 kepada Timbalan Perdana Menteri untuk mangsa banjir di Johor.

Tahun 2007
Dutch Lady Milk Industries telah menderma pelbagai lagi produk Dutch Lady bernilai RM 115,000 melalui Kementerian Kesihatan kepada mangsa banjir di Johor. Ia juga telah member Anugerah Kecemerlangan Pendidikan Pengerusi kepada 31 anak-anak warga kerjanya. Di samping itu, Dutch Lady Malaysia juga telah menempa satu lagi kecemerlangan – Pensijilan di dalam Sistem Pengurusan Alam Sekitar ISO 14001:2004 dan Sistem Pengurusan Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Tempat Kerja OHSAS 18001:1999 dari SIRIM QAS International.

PROFAIL SYARIKAT

Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (“Dutch Lady Malaysia”), peneraju industri tenusu berkualiti Malaysia, telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 1963. Ianya juga syarikat tenusu pertama yang disenaraikan di Bursa Malaysia pada tahun 1968. Pemilik utamanya adalah Royal FrieslandCampina NV, suatu syarikat multinasional Belanda dan antara syarikat tenusu terbesar di dunia. Permodalan Nasional Berhad pula adalah pemegang saham kedua terbesar.
Dutch Lady Malaysia mengilang serta memasarkan produk tenusu dan jus buah-buahan yang berkualiti tinggi untuk pasaran tempatan dan eksport Antara produk-produk termasuklah Rumusan Bayi, Susu Untuk Membesar, Susu Tepung, Susu Pekat Manis, Susu UHT, Susu Disteril, Susu Dipasteur, Susu Kultur, Yoghurt dan Minuman Jus Buah-Buahan. Syarikat juga mempunyai pengguna setia yang menyokong produk tenusu jenama Dutch Lady, Frisolac, Friso, Completa, Omela dan Joy.
Syarikat percaya akan pentingnya inovasi produk yang berterusan, suatu hasrat yang disokong penuhnya oleh FrieslandCampina. Dutch Lady Malaysia juga sentiasa memperbaiki kualiti dan nutrisi produk sedia ada secara berterusan untuk memenuhi keperluan pihak pelanggan. Dutch Lady Malaysia adalah syarikat pertama di dunia yang memperkenalkan Susu Untuk Membesar yang diformulakan khas untuk kanak-kanak berumur satu hingga tiga tahun. Produk ini dipasarkan di Malaysia dengan nama Susu Untuk Membesar Dutch Lady 123 dan Susu Untuk Membesar Dutch Lady 456.
Selain menyokong industri tempatan dengan penggunaan ramuan tempatan dalam penghasilan produk-produknya, Dutch Lady Malaysia juga adalah penyokong dan pembeli susu segar tempatan daripada Jabatan Perkhidmatan Veterinar Malaysia. Pembelian tersebut adalah hasil kolaborasi Projek Pembangunan Tenusu bersama Jabatan Perkhidmatan Veterinar Malaysia dan dibantu oleh Kedutaan Belanda.
Dutch Lady Malaysia amat mementingkan mutu produknya dengan memastikan penjagaan kualiti berada di tahap yang optimum. Ini terbukti dengan penganugerahan pensijilan ISO 9001 kepada premis syarikat sejak tahun 1995. Syarikat juga mengamalkan keselamatan penghasilan produk dengan aplikasi HACCP di dalam premis pembuatannya. Malah, penjagaan alam sekitar dan keselamatan pekerja turut dititikberatkan apabila dianugerahkan sijil ISO 14001 dan OHSAS 18001. Kesemua produk tenusu yang dihasilkan syarikat telah mendapat pengesahan halal oleh pihak Jabatan Agama Islam Malaysia (JAKIM).
Dutch Lady Malaysia memperoleh hasil pendapatan tahunan sebanyak RM692 juta pada tahun 2009. Syarikat ini beroperasi di Petaling Jaya dan mempunyai 600 orang pekerja. Kini, Dutch Lady Malaysia menerajui pasaran untuk produk tenusu seperti Susu UHT, Susu Steril, dan Susu Untuk Membesar.
Selain dairpada Dutch Lady Malaysia, FrieslandCampina mempunyai tiga syarikat lain yang beroperasi di Malaysia. Syarikat tersebut didaftarkan dengan nama FrieslandCampina Business Development Unit, CPI Sdn Bhd, yang berfungsi sebagai ibupejabat Operasi Nasional, Syarikat FrieslandCampina Service Centre Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, yang berstatus MSC dan Syarikat FrieslandCampina Domo Asia, yang menjalankan perniagaan jualan bahan ramuan. Royal FrieslandCampina merupakan syarikat multinasional yang menghasilkan produk tenusu dan bahan ramuan yang semulajadi, bernutrisi dan bermutu tinggi. Rasa, sihat, mudah dan jujur merupakan aspek utama yang dipegang Syarikat.
FrieslandCampina mencatatkan hasil pendapatan tahunan sebanyak Euro 9.5 billion pada tahun 2008. Ianya mempunyai 21,000 orang pekerja do 100 buah premis pembuatan dan pejabat jualan di 25 buah negara. Syarikat terbahagi kepada empat organisasi dalaman iaitu Produk Pelanggan Eropah, Produk Pelanggan Antarabangsa, Keju & Mentega dan Bahan Ramuan.
Variasi produk tenusu yang dihasilkan adalah seperti Susu berbentuk Tepung dan Likat, Minuman Susu, Yoghurt, Keju, Pencuci mulut, Krimer Kopi, Makanan Bayi, Mentega dan Bahan Ramuan.

Syarikat mengamalkan model kerjasama dalam menjalankan perniagaannya dimana 16,000 penternak lembu tempatan adalah merupakan pemilik Syarikat dan mempunyai kepentingan di dalam Syarikat.

Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad adalah pemenang Anugerah Produktiviti Tahun 2004 yang telah diiktirafkan oleh Nasional Productivity Corporation (NPC) dalam kategori syarikat-syarikat yang mempunyai pulangan RM 100 juta keatas. Anugerah ini diberikan dengan objektif untuk menghargai syarikat yang cemerlang dalam pengurusan & peningkatan tahap produtiviti, dan juga untuk meningkatkan saingan dalam industri dan akhir sekali bagi menyedarkan semua akan kepentingan untuk memperbaiki produktiviti syarikat bagi menyumbang terhadap pembangunan ekonomi di Malaysia.

Organisasi Piawaian Antarabangsa (International Organization of Standardization, ISO) ialah rangkaian institut piawaian kebangsaan sedunia dari 146 buah negara. ISO menggalakkan piawaian sedunia yang memudahkan pertukaran barangan dan perkhidmatan antarabangsa. Pengiktirafan ISO diberi berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan melalui kerjasama dengan organisasi-organisasi antarabangsa, kerajaan, industri, perniagaan dan wakil pengguna.

Pada tahun 2007, para pengguna Malaysia sekali lagi memilih Dutch Lady sebagai jenama susu yang lebih digemari lalu memberikan anugerah "Reader's Digest SuperBrands Gold Award" yang kesembilan kepada kami.
