He discusses in his article, that regardless of what improvements America has done to their education in K-12 schools, the performance is still the same as when they began to improve the system. He also states that privatizing schools will not do any good because it showed that students in private schools do not perform any better than students in public schools. Privatizing public schools is not the solution. The reason that students in private schools do not outperform students in public schools is because both types of schools have common features.
