Question 1: Throughout the semester as a Member Development committee member, I devoted my time to advertise for UGA Miracle’s Dance Marathon (best 24 hours ever). In the Tate Plaza for one of our last pushes to encourage our fellow classmates to join, I participated in the flash mob even though I have no rhythm. I had to run from my class to Tate just to make it in time, but it was worth it. I continuously helped advertise the Miracle message of ‘Glory’ by dispersing the stickers around campus and tabling in Tate Plaza to educate the students of the impact of UGA Miracle. I also went to help other committee members with the jumpy slide in the Plaza and helping students sign up through our website. My involvement in the Member Development committee this past year has greatly expanded my passion and dedication to this organization and everything it does and offers for our kids.
Question 2: Being able to see first hand what each organization accomplishes and how each…show more content… However, I would have loved to see more interaction between committees. Having more committee interaction enables us to see first hand what the others do and will bring a newfound respect for the process of making Dance Marathon happen. Committees should meet to get to know each other and what each committee does differently to make our amazing organization run the way it does and build ideas off of each other so everyone is completely aware of all that goes on in UGA Miracle. Furthermore, many people didn’t even know their color group captain until Dance Marathon. During the big meetings, each color group should get together and get to know each other. The best thing about UGA Miracle is our passion for the same cause and how close knit we are, but it would be amazing if everyone could feel it whether they are a Miracle Maker or on a
