Our team discussed on the topic of principles and strategies that apply to our business and those that can apply to each member’s business. Specifically, we discussed about organizational goals and its importance with a management team, demographics, organizational branding, and the Employment-Recruitment-Selection Process (ERSP). Each team member gave insightful thoughts and arguments that further broadened the key lessons outlined in the textbook. Below are each team member’s submissions and participation on the previously mentioned topics.
Organizational Goals Organizational goals are the objectives, mission, and vision established by the management team and communicated to the employees. The management team must understand the organization goals to get the employees on board. A company with clear organizational goals can drive the efforts of employees. If the goals are not understood by all involved, an organization may lose the ability to achieve the organizational goals. Communication is a key factor for any business to achieve their goal.
Forecasted Demographical Changes Demographical forecasting allows an organization to consider available information related to the current market. It introduces new tools that can improve greatly the forecasting of the demographical population. Any organization must be aware of the population and the demand in a particular region, before establishing a business.
